A little bit about us
Our first encounter with this wonderful breed was 1999, when my husband and me attend a cat show in Austria... and there he was; a huge red tabby Maine Coon male. He was only 10 month old and absolutely fascinating.
From that moment on I collected every single informtion I was able to find about Maine Coons. 2 years later our first boy, Chilipepper Beauty Boy, moved in and in 2003 Chilipepper Filou followed his big Brother.
I start to attend cat shows and I carried on gaining about the breed, genetics and diseases and I spent many hours in front of my computer studying pedigrees.
In 2005 I decided to start breeding this fabulous cats. With a lots of support from my friends the Chilipepper Maine Coons I dared this big step.
At the end of October 2005 our first female moved in.
Right from the beginning our aim was to find a good combination of approved showlines and good outcross lines. A tough healthiness combined with a good type and size, a gentle character are our prior goal. All of our cats are tested regularly on HCM , PKD and HD.
Our cats occupy the whole house and they also have a spacious outdorrun and a extended attic just for their own use. We are a member of TicaCats in Germany and TICA in USA.
